Review of ‘The Seeker’

A different taste of Romantic Thriller

Author: Nivedita Vedurla @vedurlanivedita
Format: Kindle edition
Genre: Romantic Suspense Novel

Aditya Sehgal and Naina Kapoor were couples during their college days. But, Naina left Aditya on his birthday without giving him any reasons.

8 years later their sudden confrontation made Aditya to plot revenge on her for leaving him suddenly.

Naina, being an event planner, and Aditya being the client, forced her to come to his office regularly to plan his friend and Naina’s collegemate, Rahul’s wedding.

On the other hand, was their any ulterior motives of Naina to be back again?
What was the outcome of that one brief poignant meeting?
I liked the writing style of the author. The first half of the story is steady and exciting. But, the second half became a jumble of twists and suspense, that the reader can’t focus on which to engage in and the incidents were placed so suddenly one after another, that I couldn’t absorb them fully before moving on to the next.

Personally I think that the climax of the story could have been much better than being just a romantic novel.

Since, the title indicated it to be romantic ‘suspense’ novel, I anticipated a much better ending.

All over, the writing style is eloquent and worth noting.

I would recommend it to all those who love romantic thrillers.
